2022 marks the year which Nike celebrates the 40th anniversary of their popular lifestyle silhouette, the Air Force 1. Debuted as a basketball sneaker, the AF1 has made a huge impact on fashion, music and streetwear culture throughout the years, with over 2000 iterations and various limited collaborations.

This time, joining the 40th anniversary lineup would be a new colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 React. Evolved from the original model, the AF1 React equips Nike React tech to provide soft and springy cushioning with a drop-in footbed. While keeping the front half of the sneaker the same as the classic whites, the back half is constructed with transparent TPU paneling on the uppers with a rubber outsole for better durability. Lastly, a tiny gold swoosh on the front panel and black outline that runs across the back finishes the detailing.

No release details are confirmed yet, but do expect the Nike Air Force 1 React “White/Sail” to drop in the upcoming weeks via Nike.
