Memories Refreshed With The Maison Margiela x Reebok V2 Collection
Evoking the memory of something that once existed.
Maison Margiela and Reebok are taking us on a trip down memory lane with their new collaborative footwear. Following past releases featuring the Tabi and Instapump Fury models, the duo has partnered up for a more classic but deconstructed approach to footwear for AW22.
Part of the “Memory Of” campaign, the collaboration introduces the Club C V2 and Classic Leather V2 models in a pair of Black and White colorways. Following the March release, the V2 models sports a raw stitching on the materials to show an image of deconstruction with panel framing. With the open nylon panels on the bottom layer, it acts like a skin which is wrapped by the leather uppers in an unfinished way. Finishing off the detailing is the double logo patch on the shoe tongue which layers on top of each other in a similar way as the uppers.
Retailing at $675, the “Memory Of” V2 collection will be available from 30th September via Maison Margiela and selected retailers.
