adidas Introduces a Breast Cancer Awareness Collection
Features a range of footwear for running, hiking and mountain biking.
adidas is producing a line in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month that was inspired by the experiences of individuals and communities from all over the world, including its own staff and athletes. The collection comprises several types of running, hiking, and mountain biking shoes. The silhouettes are cherry-picked to suit outdoor activities to promote improved health and well-being with inclusivity in mind, regardless of physical ability or condition.
The adidas TERREX Free Hiker, adidas TERREX Agravic Ultra, adidas Five Ten Freerider Pro, and adidas Ultraboost are some of the collection’s standout models. Each pair of sneakers comes in core black, vivacious pink, peach, and lilac hues.
While the adidas TERREX Agravic Ultra trail-running shoe was developed with athlete Ekaterina Mityaeva in mind for comfort and energy return over tricky trails, the adidas TERREX Free Hiker is an all-terrain hiking shoe that provides traction and a responsive, padded midsole over extended distances.
For runners looking to pick up the pace, adidas created the Ultraboost, a breathable shoe with a BOOSTTM midsole for comfortable runs.
An MTB silhouette with excellent traction, the adidas Five Ten Freerider Pro can be used on virtually any surface. Veronique Sandler, a professional mountain cyclist and an adidas athlete, designed a number of graphic illustrations for the product with the intention of capturing the courage and comfort that people with breast cancer have found in the great outdoors.
Apart from purposeful selections on footwear, a windproof and water-repellent adidas TERREX Trail Wind Jacket and an adidas Five Ten Flooce Jersey are among the apparel options from the range, which are both made to help regulate body temperature while mountain riding in the unpredictable changing weather. An adidas TERREX Agravic T-shirt and an adidas Five Ten Flooce jacket are also available.
The adidas Breast Cancer Awareness Collection has an early release for adiClub members only and is available now through the end of October 2022, followed by a general release after October. Price ranges from US$45 to $200 via adidas.com.
adidas is committed to donate US$15 to Breast Cancer Now and the National Breast Cancer Foundation each time a full-priced item from the collection is purchased.
