Motivation Blooms With the NAIJEL GRAPH x adidas Originals STAN SMITH
A statement of peace.
As part of adidas’ new approach to its heritage with “adidas ENERGY”, the label has turn its focus on the land of the rising sun. Introducing “TOKYO ENERGY”, a campaign slated to launch from FW22 in the heart of Japan, adidas has officially partnered up with design studio NAIJEL GRAPH for the first release.
Dubbed “MAKE BLOOM IN HEART”, the collection is inspired by the image of flowers blooming with the intention of promoting a positive mindset and staying motivated through wearing sneakers. Illustrations of Olive Flowers are also drawn on the shoe tongue to represent peace and friendship.
Constructed with synthetic materials on the upper, a “NAIJEL GRAPH” logo is debossed on the side to add unique detailing to the seemless minimalistic body. Lastly, the initials of the theme “MBIH” is printed on the inner sides of the midsoles to finish off the design.
Retailing for JPY15,400 (~US$110), the collection will be available in three colorways, white, beige and black, on 4th October via raffle at adidas and selected retailers.
