Vintage clothing in the recent decade have become universally accepted, and to some, beloved. An anti-trend that’s become so ubiquitous it’s practically become what it originally opposed. Seeing this rise, many brands high and low have taken to its aesthetic as inspiration. Nigo, an inveterate tastemaker, exercises his proclivity for calling the right trends and releases a full array of apparel and accessories through his coveted HUMAN MADE imprint.

As autumn rolls in, he puts his best foot forward with the incoming “HUNTING” capsule collection, channelling the color palette of the season through its earthy tones and animal-themed graphics. This, depicted in a series of campaign images in the great outdoors it was made for.

The collection features a spectrum of corduroy work shirts, graphic t-shirts, hunting jackets and vests, painter pants; along with accessories like a 6-panel twill cap, bags, socks, and a bandana. Every item stays thematically-consistent through its shades of khaki green, light brown, and navy.

Some of its standouts include: the hunting jacket with HUMAN MADE branding at the back, encircling the duck graphic with the text “Gears for Futuristic Teenagers” printed below; the vest with the aforementioned duck and text motif on its back while its alternate colorway features a dog. Tote bags in various sizes gets its time in the sun as well, when not getting shaded by its more wearable contemporaries like the sweatshirt and the painter pants.

The collection will be available from 1st October on HUMAN MADE’s brick and click. Prices for the above-mentioned range from ¥69,300 (≈US$479) for the jacket and ¥38,500 (≈US$267) for the vest; while the largest bag will go for ¥26,400 (≈US$183), lastly the painter pants for ¥27,500 (≈US$190).

Nigo’s predecessor, Hiroshi Fujiwara is also releasing his own collection. Check out the fragment design x OAMC Collection.
