Even the elusive Mewtwo makes an appearance, so you know it will be a Legendary collection.

thisisneverthat is tapping on the Pokedex for their next collaborative drop with Pokémon. Specifically, the Seoul-based label is rounding up the first generation, Kanto-region dwellers and rehoming them on their caps and tees.

Similar to the first drop, a collection of Pokémon evolutions find themselves labelled with bubbly font that calls back to the late 90s. On a black ball cap are the legendary Mew and Mewtwo embroidered in silvery threads. The outdoorsy brown iteration features Gengar’s evolution, though the graphic font spells out the Pokémon’s Korean name “Penteom”. Of course, Pikachu and its accompanying Raichu and Pichu forms also make an appearance, but is paired with a forest green visor.

This time around, the tees—available in gray, black and white—utilise the previous drop’s poster design that pictures all the Kanto-region Pokémon. The series’ catch phrase, “Gotta Catch ‘Em All!” is printed in Serif font near the top with rainbow overlays. We’d like to think this is a nod to the Gameboy logo’s colorful gradient animation when you booted the console up.

This nostalgic Korean-exclusive collection is one to look out for if you were an OG Pokémon fan, or if you’re just really into old-school game graphics. It exudes vintage-chic without, well, being actually vintage. Which seems to be thisisneverthat’s forte, especially when we view their past collab with New Balance.

This collection will be available on 30 Sep, 12PM KST (11AM SGT) on thisisneverthat’s web shop. Retail prices will likely follow then.

In other collaborative drops, check out adidas’ whimsical rabbit hole concept with Melting Sadness.
