New Balance 574 Tokyo Design Studio Dresses in Luxe “Vachetta Tan”
Sophistication with teeth.
The New Balance Tokyo Design Studio has a knack for making classics contemporary through mindful design choices. This philosophy carries forward to their latest workings on the New Balance 574, which sees the lifestyle model undergo a luxe “Vachetta Tan” transformation.
The upper is primarily made of leather overlays drenched in the pleasing “Vachetta Tan” color. This vegetable tanned leather was chosen due to how beautifully it ages, giving character to the shoe with every year you accompany it. Resting under these panels are herringbone-patterns atop a soft cream cotton, a distinctive choice that makes it stand out. The combination of these two colors makes the shoe undeniably aesthetic with a touch of sophistication.
Usual debossed NB logo finds themselves on the lower end of the molded heel, which features the same beige dress as its leather panels. Per the previous pairs, the outsoles are toothy chunks while the midsole takes on panels of beige and gray.
This classy and contemporary pair is priced at US$205 and is available on Up There.
