Verdy Produces BLACKPINK’s New Merchandise for “Born Pink” Sophomore Album
This that new merch/ This that new merch (get 'em, get 'em, get 'em)/ Straight out ya wallet like whoa-whoa-whoa/
Images of a new line of BLACKPINK merchandise have surfaced, ascertaining the existence of a collection that revered graphic artist Verdy teased last week, when he posted on his Instagram a black t-shirt with the K-pop group’s sophomore album “Born Pink” printed in the artist’s pink signature font.
From what’s discernible from these leaks, the line was made in conjunction with the group’s private listening party that was held on 14th September, days prior to the album’s official release. Aside from the above-mentioned graphic on the shirt front, the back features BLACKPINK’s logo and album title up top before running down the tracklist of the project, leading to the text commemorating the event.
Expanding the collection it seems, is a cap, a tote bag, and pin badges, with the similar motif running through them. Since it was made to coincide with the private listening party, there’s no word whether the merchandise will be released “in your area,” or exclusively for the attendees. Nevertheless, expect an update as soon as word reaches us through the grapevine.
In other things pink, check out the upcoming Jacquemus x Nike Air Humara “Pink”. Not quite BLACKPINK, more like pink-pink.
