Luka Dončić will indubitably be one of the faces of the NBA, if he isn’t already. The prodigy has made a feat even LeBron James wasn’t able to achieve at that age: making three or more All-NBA First Team selections before turning 24. This, among a long list of records he’s already shattered, and to think he’s not even in his prime yet. If injuries don’t throw him off course, he’ll be revolving in an orbit of his own, high above the rest of the basketball world.

Cool Hand Luka entered the NBA at 19, already with a professional pedigree. He signed his contract with Spanish club Real Madrid at just 13, representing their youth team, and later turned pro at 16. Even though he’s in the peak of the NBA now, he remembers the road he took, and the team that helped him get there. For the second time, in his first signature shoe with the Jordan Brand, he adopts his former team’s colors.

The “Football Grey” base provides plenty of ground for the Real Madrid colors to play on. Starting with the “Dark Marina Blue” gracing the tongue and sock liner before taking its place on the heel and the Jumpman logo below. “Volt” takes centerstage by way of Luka’s branding before partnering up with neon orange on the heel counter’s pull tab, the pairing shining through on the translucent rubber outsole.

While waiting for a release date, enjoy the official images provided by Sneaker News. Expect the shoes to debut before or early next season as the world waits for another great performance from Luka and the shoes.

Here’s another signature sneaker from the Jumpman worth the look: check out Jayson Tatum’s Air Jordan 36 “Mustang”.
