The collaboration’s attention to detail is also emphasised by the tiny star cut-outs on the quarter panels. Conceptually, this beaded design was derived from Premium Good’s owner Jennifer Ford, who had a background in crafting jewelry before opening up her independent sneaker boutique.

The Premium Goods x Nike Air Force 1 Low “The Belle” and “The Sophia” will launch via the Premium Goods website on 20 Jan for US$150 per pair.

Houston-based sneaker boutique, Premium Goods, have been serving Space City for 18 years and it’s high time they get to fly on their own (Nike) Air Force 1. Located in Rice Village, in the heart of the city, the store has long been part of the city’s fabric, and long embraced by its culture.

Living up to their name, Premium Goods introduce an exquisite multi-material construction into the Air Force One Low, with just the right balance of ostentation and rigour; fit for the museum marble floors and the urban blacktop.

The shoe’s leather makeup features a quilted, star perforation on the quarter, with the beige color scheme running underneath the black overlays through to the toe box. The Swooshes on the sides are embellished with beads, as well as surrounding the embroidered one on the heel.

Rope laces and and golden dubraes elevate the design language into artisanal heights, along with proximal perforated tongue and leather tongue tags. Premium Goods branding is imprinted on the top with its founding year on the underside.

Rounding out the Goods is the special, co-branded shoebox. Alternate laces are included within and with them, golden aglets. Ornament vectors accompany the boutique’s branding on interior cover of the box; featuring Premium Goods founder, Jennifer Ford’s signature on the wraparound paper.

There are no official details yet but the accompanying images is enough to incite desire. When they do arrive however, be sure you’ll get it from us.

If actual premium goods is what you’re after, check out the new Bodega x Suicoke Kaw Sandal “One of One”. Thanks us later.
