The Air Jordan 11 Low IE “Light Orewood Brown” Landing This Fall
An AJ11 inspired by the colours of the hardwood.
Tinker Hatfield once claimed the Air Jordan 11 was his favourite sneaker of all time, and he’s not alone in that sentiment. In the 37 iterations of the mainline Jordan catalogue, the 11 is one of the most versatile ones, gracefully threading between the challenging performance grounds and the competitive lifestyle floor; proving itself on-court, and courtside.
The archetypal Air Jordan 1 sees plenty of interesting reimagining every year like Zion Williamson’s Nike Air Jordan 1 Low “Voodoo”. Even the oft-ignored Air Jordan 2 is getting its time in the sun with a series of collaborations far and wide with Detroit’s Two 18 and South Africa’s Shelflife. Come this fall however, the 11s will enjoy an outing of its own through the new “Light Orewood Brown”.
While the “Concord” and “Bred” are some of its most popular colorways, this tonal white outfitting will sit nicely on the palate of fans who love a vintage flair on their apparel. Various materials make up the multi-layered construction, including a unique mesh interior. Cream suede overlays complement the white leather makeup with decorative stitching in the surrounding parts, finished off with the grey crystal rubber outsole.
The pair is an International Exclusive (IE) so as opposed to the signature patent leather on the mudguard, leather and mesh takes its place.
The Air Jordan 11 Low IE “Light Orewood Brown” is scheduled for release on 6th October with an early 24th September drop in Japan. They will be available on Nike platforms for a price tag of US$185 or ¥20,350.
If this’s a colour palette you’re gravitating to, consider the adidas YEEZY 450 “Stone Flax”.
