[Update 23 Aug] Every year with every new signature, Paul George releases a colorway dedicated to his mother. This regal iteration, previously unnamed, is the latest in the “Paulette” series. It’s set for a September 1 release via Nike brick and click. Should anything change though, you can expect an update from us!

Paul George has had one of the most eclectic collaborations and colorways when it comes to his signature line with Nike; from PlayStation, Gatorade to the conspicuous Nike PG 6 “Hot Wheels”. Even players from the WNBA and leagues across the world have embraced the PG 6.

While we saw George lace up in them in the last season, the Swoosh has been superb in extending its shelf life with an array of exciting new colorways, proving that its a good a canvas as any Air Force 1 or Jordan. With Kawhi Leonard coming back for 2022-23, we’ll have to wait until June to see if the dynamic duo can take the ‘cursed’ Clippers to the pinnacle of the NBA mountain. We don’t know if George will finally get to sit on the throne, but his sneakers have gone ahead of him in getting the royal treatment.

This upcoming colorway of the PG 6 looks regal, reminiscent of the interior of Baroque palaces. Vine embroidery on the heel counter and the marble-patterned outsole are fine brushstrokes on the tonal grey background. Not to be outdone, the branding elements also stand out as much through their contrasting colors, looking at the mint green on the tongue and the scarlet red on the lateral and medial heel.

The on-court performance of the shoe has been proven to thrive on the hardwood and the concrete. If you’re planning to get a pair, then it’ll be all about the aesthetic. There’s no release date yet but it should arrive by the time the Nike PG 7 rolls around sometime in the next season.

If you want regal, the King himself has a pair to show off. Check out the Nike LeBron 19 Low “Agimat”.
