Say Hello to the Larger-Than-Life Nike ISPA Sense Flyknit
Nike ISPA Sense Flyknit features the titular material in varying thickness, and a giant rocker-style midsole.
From the design team that brought us otherworldly sneaker silhouettes like the ISPA Link and ISPA Zoom Road Warrior, comes another pair of sneaker of gargantuan proportions.
ISPA, short for Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt, is the Nike division in charge of footwear innovation. With the Nike ISPA Link, the team gave us an earth-conscious design that can be taken apart and reassembled easily for ease of recycling.
The Nike ISPA Sense Flyknit is its newest sneaker offering, and it definitely retains the futuristic design of its predecessors. The larger-than-life sneaker features a thicc midsole that eclipses even that of previous offerings like the ISPA Overreact.
Said to be inspired by iconic Nike designs like the Nike Hike and Nike ACG Intel, the Nike ISPA Sense Flyknit’s midsole comes in a rocker style. The unabashedly-thick slab of cushioning is rumored to be made of Nike’s famed React foam, though the Swoosh has yet to confirm this.
The shoe’s upper also offers some intriguing details. Appearing in two colorways Light Bone and Enignma Stone, it features the titular material, but in varying thickness, texture and color. Overall, the mid-top shoe seems to point towards a snug, well-protected fit.
Branding wise, two mini Swooshes are spotted at the midsole and tongue label respectively. ISPA’s own branding is embroidered on a thick strap on the medial side of the shoe.
Currently, no release details for the Nike ISPA Sense Flyknit have been provided by Nike, so stay tuned for the latest updates.
