[Update 16 Dec] Official images of the “True Blue” AJ 1 have arrived, just a few weeks shy of its release date. Considering how jam-packed their release calendar is all the way until spring, Jordan Brand’s moved up the drop of the titular shoe from an earlier-reported 31 January, to 14.

[Update 5 Oct 2022] With its rumored release date of Jan 2023 approaching, we are finally getting some early looks at actual pairs of the Nike Air Jordan 1 High “True Blue”, courtesy of @prvt.selection. These pictures depict the Jordan Brand shoe in the titular blue shade, with hits of grey around the collar and heel. We are expecting official images and release date to come in soon, so follow along as we bring you the latest updates.

LineThanks to @zsneakerheadz, we’ve got first looks at an all-new colourway coming to the AJ1 Retro High OG silhouette! Possibly releasing as part of Air Jordan 3’s 35th Anniversary in 2023, “True Blue” is exactly as its name suggests: a colourway that focuses on bringing out the most of its deep blue colour. Leather overlays, Swoosh, eyelets, laces, inner lining and the imprinted Air Jordan logo are all covered in matching “True Blue”, while the remaining elements are kept to a neutral white or grey. To fans of AJ1s and blue-coloured outfits, this colourway is a godsend. To anybody else, it’s nothing much to write home about. That’s fine though – not every colourway can be a “Luka” or “Voodoo”.

There’s no clear release date as of yet for the Air Jordan 1 High OG “True Blue”, but sources expect it to drop around January 2023 for a price of US$180 on Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Keep your eyes peeled as more information surfaces!
