Green and Baggy: TRASHMANGRN x Nike x Billie Eilish Upcycled Apparel Collection
TRASHMANGRN partners with superstar singer Billie Eilish, sportswear giant Nike, and non-profit organization Goodwill to release a sustainable apparel capsule.
TRASHMANGRN, a boutique fashion brand specializing in handmade and recycled clothing, has collaborated with singer Billie Eilish, Nike, and Goodwill to release a full sustainable clothing capsule.
The collection is dedicated to the American workers that keep Los Angeles clean. Inspired by vintage Nike pieces from the 80s to 2000s, 80s windbreakers, crewnecks, and hoodies are reimagined with hand-dye treatments, hand-made patchwork, militia accents, and RiRi Zippers. The entire collection includes sweatshirts, nylon pants, denim jeans, t-shirts, and jackets and all of them are dressed in TRASHMANGRN’s classic green hue. Billie Eilish’s signature style is reflected in the collection as each piece comes in a loose and oversized fit.
An accompanying campaign that features the sustainable collection was shot in Cebu, Philippines. The campaign’s photographer, Jayson Palacio, said that the photoshoot intended to capture the notion of “beauty in ruggedness.” He added that his goal for the shot was to merge the two concepts of beauty and ruggedness in a country that has a rich cultural heritage and geographic texture.
A release date for the TRASHMANGRN x Nike x Billie Eilish Upcycled Apparel Collection has yet to be revealed. Stay tuned to SNKRDUNK Magazine for the latest update!
