Kerwin Frost has made a name for himself in the streetwear community for his eclectic and sometimes eccentric sense of style. Since founding the Spaghetti Boys collective, he has had many collaborative partners, including street style giants like Off-White and Heron Preston from Kanye’s creative team. German brand adidas is also among this stellar list of partners, with Kerwin previously launching a wacky adidas Forum Hi with a horse face and an adidas Superstar “Superstuffed” inspired by puffy, too-big clown shoes.
Now, the multi-hyphenated personality is back with another adidas collaboration, this time on the adidas Microbounce T1. Available in two colorways, the first is a fully blue, furry take on the sneaker. The quirky furry look is likely a nod to the yeti tracksuit that Kerwin previously launched with adidas. Matching the hairy upper are fuzzy, plush laces and silvered Three Stripes. Kerwin Frost branding is located right atop the tongue.
The second colorway is less furry, but not any less bold. Featuring a vibrant mix of yellow laces, blue overlay panels, green lining and splashes of red trimmings – the color palette looks straight out of a 00’s cartoon. The Three Stripes also take on a McDonald’s-like yellow and red combination while a yellow warped emoji is attached to the strap.
This unique Kerwin Frost x adidas Microbounce T1 collection is slated to drop some time in July, but exact details are still kept in the dark. Stay tuned to our SNKRDUNK magazine to be updated with the latest news about this collaboration. In the meantime, keep scrolling to see the eccentric designs for yourself!
