With the Nike Air Jordan 1 and Jordan 2 clamoring for the top spot this year in terms of releases, the Nike Air Jordan 9 quietly enters the race by donning the iconic “Fire Red” colorway. This recognisable look has made its appearance on the Air Jordans 3 through 5, but takes on a slightly different color blocking in the Air Jordan 9.

Silver-like grays start at the trim and lead to the bottom half of the upper and into the midsole. This gives the shoe a modern curve and futuristic feel. The gray, which could potentially be dull on its own, becomes a highlighting feature since it is placed against a pristine white leather upper and tongues.

As expected from the Air Jordan 9 models, the upper has triangular stamping while the Jumpman logo is found on the midsole and outsole. “23” is embroidered on the heels in the same red.

While no official images have been dropped from Nike, release details have been heavily speculated. The Nike Air Jordan 9 “Fire Red” will launch on November 5 and will retail for USD$200. Keep scrolling for more pictures provided by @Chriscolgan.
