Contemporary Japanese label AMBUSH and 3D-print sneaker company Zellerfeld have joined hands to ensure that you are cool for the summer. Cool, literally, with a well-ventilated 100S Clog and cool, metaphorically, since it is also being issued as an NFT — arguably the hottest topic in the sneaker community now.
Inspired by the same circular design as the HERON01, Heron Preston’s clog design with Zellerfeld, the 100S Clog will come in an eye-catching “Volt” hue. A ridged, low profile upper gives a functional, snug fit that lessens the usual “slip-off” that happens with clogs. However, innovative design is not sacrificed for functionality, as we see in the lavish sole unit.
A wave-like gap punctures the upper and lower half of the shoe, offering breathability and a raised design to the clog. Similarly, slit-like cuts appear on the heel to make the clog comfortable and cool in the summers. AMBUSH’s logo is debossed on one of these slits in the same Volt tone.
Not only is the 100S Clog fully recyclable, it is also high customized to the user’s sizing in couture made-to-order style. The improved user fit also extends to its digital counterpart — an NFT wearable within the AMBUSH SILVER FCTRY metaverse. The model’s prototype will debut at NFT NYC at the Stadium Goods SoHo.
VERBAL, co-founder of AMBUSH, will have a reveal on 20 June from 11am to 1pm EST (11pm to 1am SGT), which is limited to the first 100 people to line up at the store. POW!® NFT holders will be given priority to purchase. Fret not if you are not in the area — given the digital release of the 100S Clog, AMBUSH will also be holding a raffle on SILVER FCTRY.
