Nike Air Jordan 1 Lows are on a roll this year, with new releases sprouting every few weeks or so. This latest rendition eggs you on to take a chance by having a unique “tear-away” layer on its Swoosh.

At first glance, this Air Jordan 1 Low carries all the standard makings of an AJ1 — white leather uppers and soles gently enhanced with Wolf Gray overlays. This comparatively neutral color palette is intentional, allowing other eye-catching elements to take centre stage. This includes the hologram tongue label, reflective Swoosh, silver heels and tri-colored laces.

However, the unique twist comes from the tear away Swoosh and heels, which are peppered with “?” and “JORDAN”. A mini “Take Your Chances” indicates where you can start peeling away the reflective layer, revealing a salmon pink leather underneath.

Some speculate that the color under the tear away layer might vary and include blue and yellow variants, given that these three colors are found on the laces. Not to mention, the “?” symbols on the tear away silvers hints that an element of mystery can be expected.

As always, only time will tell. Release dates are also hidden for now, but many expect the tear away Nike Air Jordan 1 Low to be launched within the year. Per most Air Jordan 1 Lows, it is likely that this pair will retail at USD$120. As we wait for Nike to drop more news on this interesting sneaker, keep scrolling for more pictures!
