Is Brockhampton x Adidas Going to Happen?

Brockhampton is seemingly teasing an unprecedented collaboration with adidas, but knowing their frontman Kevin Abstract’s track record of teasing fans with questionable hints, nobody quite knows what to believe. Regardless, it is undeniable that a new pair of adidas sneakers is present in Abstract’s most recent photoshoot.
Posted on Instagram with the caption “brockhampton + adidas?”, the photoshoot’s images were posted across the pages of Brockhampton, models Ame and Jaxen, as well as stylist Nick Holiday. They reveal what appears to be an adidas Forum 84 Low that dons a cream base, Brockhampton blue stripes and branding, as well as a brown gum-like outsole. Looking at the upper, the sneaker appears to use a strap and zip system rather than laces. Meanwhile, photos reveal that the underfoot uses adidas Forum’s typical marble tread, rounding out the shoe’s design. Currently, there isn’t any concrete release information on this collaboration, so stay tuned for more updates.
The Texas-born pop and hip-hop boyband has had a great 12-year-long run that spanned 7 albums and 7 continental and/or world tours. In an announcement that saddened many, the group recently stated that following they would soon be going on an “indefinite hiatus” after their Europe tour. Their last act as a group is expected to be the launch of their “Final Album” by the end of 2022, as announced during Coachella 2022.
