[Release 27 May] Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Cactus Jack” Launches Tomorrow!
[Update 26 May 2022] Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Cactus Jack” is launching tomorrow! The two colourways, CACT.US Brown and CACT.US Gold, will be made available on Nike’s SNKRS. Excitingly, CACT.US Brown will be available in toddler and youth sizing, so that your little and not-so-little ones can rep Scott’s latest collection too. It was also announced on Instagram that a donation will be made in honour of this collaboration to Project HEAL, Scott’s multi-tier project that aims at providing mental health resources. The sneakers will retail at USD$150. A line of apparel that includes jackets, crop tops and pants in earthy tones is also dropping with this launch.
[Update 11 May] The long-awaited Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Cactus Jack” is set to drop in two different colorways, including Baroque Brown and Satan Gold, on 27 May. This collab between the American Hip Hop artist and the sneaker giant was originally pushed back following the tragic events of Scott’s Astroworld Festival.
Another collaboration between the two, the Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1, has also been rumoured to be dropping this month.

Travis Scott and Nike have collaborated on a new sneaker, the Air Max 1 “Cactus Jack”, which will be released at the end of 2021.

Travis Scott is one of the most popular hip-hoppers in the world, and has a great sense of fashion as well as a great sense of music.
His first collaboration with Nike – sneakers was surprisingly short, starting in 2017.
His collaboration sneakers with Nike have been particularly popular, selling out and commanding a premium every time there is a release.
On March 26, Air Max’s birthday, Air Max Day, a campaign video was suddenly released on SNKRS.
The latest collaboration model unveiled in the video is based on the timeless classic Air Max 1, designed by Tinker Hatfield and born in 1987.
Furthermore, a full picture of the yellow-themed model has come up, which differs from the livery that came out for Air Max Day in August 2021.
The reverse swoosh, which is typical of Travis Scott, has the words “Catus Jack” engraved on the heel.
The shoe holes are also different from the regular Air Max 1.
According to the rumor mill, the sneakers will be available in five different colors, but no details have been released yet.
