[Update 28 Jun 2022] Official photos of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid “Mocha Toe” have landed. As per the leaked images earlier on, this pair of “Black Toe” AJ1 is constructed using canvas instead of the usual leather and features an embroidered Swoosh. 

It has been quite some time since brown was the flavour of the month. Prior, we saw the colour hit both the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 and the Mochas. Now, it makes it way to the Air Jordan 1 Mid, and further, in ways it never has before.

Per the leaked images, one might make three observations. One, the shade of brown to be used on this sneaker differs from the one used in both the Travis Scotts and the Mochas; on the Air Jordan 1 Mid Brown, it seems to constitute that of a lighter shade of brown. Two, the colour-blocking of the shoe is now akin to that of the Bred Toes, unlike the previous Mocha Jordan 1s that had the colour-blocking of the Black Toes. Three, it seems the upper of the shoe is constructed not in leather, but in some sort of twill-like material. The same difference in material can also be said to apply for the lace eyelets and the Swoosh that now appeared to resemble those of the Stussy Air Forces.
