SNKRDUNK Spots: Dad style meets Street
Welcome to Spotted by SNKRDUNK, our new series that puts the spotlight on our followers and their fire fits. This week, we take a look at some of the best looks that combine comfy dad style with edgy streetwear. Scroll on for more.
@pomlee0423 here is dressed in an oversized white top and baggy striped pants from Beams 22SS. He finishes off the outfit with some New Balance 990s, a navy 5-panel camp cap, a white G-Shock and a simple thin silver necklace. This fit gave us weekend dad vibes, and screams sophistication and class. A fire fit to say the least.
@vin_takahashi here is dressed in a more flamboyant style. Donned in an oversized Balenciaga tee and baggy paisley joggers, the statement piece of Vin’s outfit is undoubtedly what’s on his feet, the Air Max 1 Concepts ‘Heavy’. He finishes off his fit with a cross body Louis Vuitton bag, an off white necklace, a new era cap and a black G-Shock. We liked that, notwithstanding the flashiness in his outfit’s branding, the tones are kept fairly neutral, allowing his shoes to stand out, and it is fitting that his accessories match the overall colour palette of his fit. Good look!
@k.mnby82_2 is dressed in a simple dad cap, a nice plain pullover, baggy white pants, and an olive and bulky cross-body bag. The statement piece of his outfit is his Air Jordan 1; we love the pop of red that it adds to his overall fit, just peeking out from the oversized silhouette of his white pants. And did we forget to mention his cute kid being Spiderman in the background? Love the fit man!
@nobuaki.t’s_style here consists of two layers. Atop is what seems to be the latest Billie Eilish Nike NRG hoodie, with what seems like an elongated tee layered below. For his bottoms, he has on a nice pair of cargos with two oversized pockets, and for his kicks, he has on the Justin Timberlakes, the Air Jordan 3 JTH Bio Beige. Overall, we love that his outfit sticks to its consistent theme of pastel beige, without it being overly excessive or blatant. Further, we also like that different shades of the same beige have been a major focus of his outfit.
Who said cargo pants are falling off? @s_rider_kick here is in a white tee, a navy-and-white patterned flannel, olive oversized cargo pants, and finishes off the fit with Union Storm Blue Jordan 1s as the stand-out. Of course, we are big fans of the Union 1s to begin with, but we also like the consistency present in his outfit, not to mention his Gundam pose!
