1. About Nike Air Max 97 “Atlantic Blue/Voltage Yellow”

The Air Max 97 “Atlantic Blue/Voltage Yellow” celebrates its 25th anniversary with the combination of the two original colors!!

In 1997, just as the high-tech sneaker boom of the 90’s in Japan was beginning to fade, the “Air Max 97” was a masterpiece that shined brightly. The flowing silhouette of the “Air Max 97” invites the eye to look at the first “full-length” Visible Air, with a border on the side reminiscent of ripples on the surface of the water. The metallic texture of the first color “Silver Bullet” was a big hit in 2017, when it celebrated its 20th anniversary, far surpassing the original, and boasts a solid presence in the modern sneaker scene as a uniquely popular standard model.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of its first appearance, a special color combination of the two original colors, “Atlantic Blue” and “Voltage Yellow,” will be reissued. The metallic silver upper is colored with a streamlined design in Atlantic Blue. The full-length Visible Air and Swoosh logos are colored in Voltage Yellow. Also the mudguard and heel tab are black in color. Special color from the 2017 release is reissued for the anniversary year.
