“Teddy Santis” directed USA model 990s stand by in V1, V2 and V3!!
Teddy Santis, founder of the menswear brand AIMÉ LEON DORE founded in 2014, will become the first Creative Director of New Balance in its 116-year history in 2022. And now, the “Made In USA” collection, which Teddy Santis himself has teased, will finally begin in earnest.
The first three models to be released will be the “990v1,” “990v2,” and “990v3,” all of which is a hit with the most discerning sneakerheads. The upper is NB’s signature gray tone, with the overlays covered in long-fur velour leather. The underlay is sandy gray mesh panels, creating a color palette that is unmistakably NB. The “NB” logo on the tongue is accented in red to convey the “Made In USA” spirit. With Teddy Santis’ collection, NB’s momentum is sure to continue to accelerate.
