1. About Concepts × Nike Air Max 1 3colors

The Air Max 1, a gem of a collaboration between Nike and CONCEPTS, is now in stores!!

Since its establishment in 1996, Boston, Massachusetts-based sneaker boutique CONCEPTS has been offering products overflowing with a unique sensibility and love for the local area that has earned the trust of Nike and New Balance. The collaborated sneakers with CONCEPTS continue to attract attention from fashionistas as well as sneaker freaks.

This time, the shop collaborated again with Nike for celebrating 35th anniversary of Air Max 1. The Air Max 1 is inspired by the hippie fashion of the late 1960s. The upper, inspired by the style, is constructed with a combination of patterns that symbolize the culture, such as bandana patterns with tie-dye and swooshes, native textiles with the “CONCEPTS” logo, and denim. Also the colors of each part were changed to green, purple, red, and blue to create a psychedelic and retro taste. And there are the colorful “CONCEPTS” logo on the tongue, the patch-like “swoosh” with different designs on the inside and outside, the velour laces, and the charm with the brand’s logo in the shape of a guitar pick motif… All add to the special and overwhelming presence of this collaborative pair.
